CAVE 9 is completely volunteer run. We aren’t a big club. We aren’t rich. We are just a room, a PA and a bunch of people that love music and the independent music scene. We hope the bands that play at CAVE 9 are more about the music than money. Cave9 is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our mission is to expose everyone, especially local youth, to music and the community that surrounds it. We provide a safe environment for people to enjoy musical performance without being in a smoke filled room or huge auditorium. We also encourage local musicians, both older established bands and new up and coming bands, to participate in our community. We try to support every genre of music we can. We are not a bar. We do not sell alcahol. We try to respect everyone we talk to and everyone that plays at cave9. Please return that respect.
AS STATED ABOVE, WE ARE VOLUNTEER RUN. WE MAKE NO MONEY DOING THIS. WE HAVE FULL TIME JOBS AND CAN ONLY DEVOTE A LITTLE TIME EACH DAY TO BOOKING SHOWS AND ANSWERING EMAILS. WE GET A LOT OF EMAILS EVERY DAY AND CANT POSSIBLY ANSWER ALL OF THEM. IF YOU DON'T GET A REPLY PLEASE CONSIDER THAT A RESPECTFUL "NO". WE HAVE RECENTLY BEEN TOLD WE ARE "UNRELIABLE" AND EVEN "DOUCHEBAGS" FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO ANSWER OUR EMAILS. IF THATS THE CASE - OK. WE'RE DOUCHEBAGS. I DON'T REALLY CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK AS LONG AS *I* KNOW I DO ALL I CAN TO SUPPORT INDEPENDENT MUSIC, MUSICIANS AND THE KIDS THAT LOVE IT.
